B.F.N - Best Friend for Now
noun - A really good friend but not one you’d die for. But since you currently spend most of your time with them (due to work, living, ect.), they are sorta your best friend… for now. It is common to have multiple BFN’s throughout your life and even more common to lose contact with them to the point of quickly knowing nothing about them until you see that they are engaged on facebook and where you quickly look through all of their photos checking out the quality of their new fiance and then write “CONGRATS!!!.”
“My last year’s BFN keeps calling me to hang out but I’m like, dude, you live on the Westside now. I’m not doing that.”
